Sustainability Certificate
The Sustainability Certificate incorporates applied learning in interdisciplinary settings and equips students with critical skills to address global sustainability challenges through real-world solutions.
Water Resources Certificate
The purpose of the program is to train students to manage our scarce water resources for the maximum benefit of the world's population, while at the same time preserving the ecologic integrity of our aquatic resources. The Water Resources Certificate prepares students for careers in environmental science and management.
International Agriculture Certificate
The International Agriculture Certificate provides students with the opportunity to expand their global perspective by participating in internationally focused coursework, language studies and a hands-on international internship that fits their academic and career goals.
Environmental Ethics Certificate
The Environmental Ethics Certificate Program (EECP) is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students to synthesize ideas from a wide variety of perspectives to solve complex environmental problems, both in theory and in practice.
GIS Certificate
The GIS Certificate is designed to prepare undergraduates with the training necessary to enter the rapidly expanding field of GIScience.
Leadership and Service Certificate
The Leadership and Service Certificate is designed to enhance the interpersonal skills of students through an interdisciplinary approach to the study and practice of leadership. Students will gain experience in leadership in personal, team, organizational and community contexts.

Plant Health Certificate
The Plant Health Certificate provides a broad–based educational experience in the three major areas of integrated pest management, including Entomology, Plant Pathology, and Weed Science.
Double Dawgs Programs
UGA offers more than 100 programs where students can obtain a bachelor's and master's degree in two different disciplines within five years, known as Double Dawgs programs.
Double Dawgs programs offered through the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences
- Agriscience and Environmental Systems (Plant Breeding and Genetics) BSA + Plant Breeding, Genetics and Genomics MS
This program helps students engage in academic research in plant breeding, genetics, genomics or other agro-biotechnological related fields. Career opportunities include, but are not limited to, and are dependent on specialization: laboratory/field technician, breeding positions/support, bioinformatics, seed technician, and many more. - Agriscience and Environmental Systems BSA + Plant Protection and Pest Management MPPPM (non-thesis) OR Environmental Resource Science BSES + Plant Protection and Pest Management MPPPM (non-thesis)
The Plant Protection and Pest Management MPPPM degree program is jointly administered by three different departments, Crop & Soil Sciences, Entomology, and Plant Pathology. Career opportunities for MPPPM graduates include jobs in private industry and at State and Federal government facilities and can be quite varied. Briefly these include, but are not limited to the: Cooperative Extension Service, Pesticide Industry, Seed Industry, Academic Institutions (technical college instructors or university laboratory or field technicians), Food & Beverage Industry, Crop Consultants .
