SASES Quiz Bowl Success

Huge congratulations to our CRSS students who placed Top 8 out of 26 teams at their first national SASES Quiz Bowl competition!

Meet the team:

  • Matthew Bruder (4th year, Agriscience and Environmental Systems)
  • Troy Loggins (3rd year, Water & Soil Resources)
  • Brianne Bracewell (4th year, Water & Soil Resources)
  • Alejandra Cerron-Palomino (2nd year, Environmental Resource Science)

They had an amazing time competing, meeting SASES students from across the country, attending research sessions, and even exploring the State Capitol!

A special shout-out to Lily Chen (2nd year, Water & Soil Resources) for presenting her undergraduate research poster “Temperature and Relative Humidity Effects on Water Absorption and Dissolution of Urea Fertilizer” with Dr. Miguel Cabrera.

We are SO proud of everything they accomplished!
