Research Interests
I love everything about cotton and all of the data that goes with it. I love being out in the field and seeing each day how the cotton is growing and the different things that go into growing cotton and the things that harm cotton.
Current Projects
Amie is currently working on her Master's thesis, which focuses on the impacts of different NRCS-approved cover crop mixes on cotton growth and development. She has already presented a poster on this topic and is now preparing to write a scientific paper titled “Investigating the Interactive Effects of N-P-K Fertility and PGR Management on Cotton Growth, Development, and Yield.” Her research aims to explore how various agronomic practices, such as fertility management and plant growth regulators, influence cotton performance, contributing valuable insights to the field of Crop and Soil Science.
