Dr. Lacerda's primary interest is the development of precision agricultural management systems for sustainable food and fiber production with a focus on the use of UAV and satellite remote sensing to improve crop monitoring, management and production through the exploration of soil-plant-environment interactions as well as spatial and temporal variability of soil properties and crop responses.
