Where are you from, and why did you choose to study at UGA/CAES?
Taiwan, I enjoyed the vibrant and diverse research community at UGA.
What is your major/degree program, and what department?
I am a PhD student in the Genetics program under the supervision of Dr. Devos.
Why did you choose your major?
Research in the Genetics program covers a variety of fascinating topics, and I am excited to learn those cool genetics research.
What is your favorite class you have taken?
PBIO 8100 Plant Genetics

Drs. Kelly Dawe and Brad Nelms
What do you want to do with what you have learned here?
I would like to better understand crop genetics and improve crops.
How has your experience at UGA changed you?
Try to be more active and interact with others.
Thinking of the word agriculture - what does agriculture mean to you? In what ways does agriculture impact your life and your culture?
I think of agriculture as the root of human beings. We not just feed on them but also live with them even we sometimes forget this.
What do you like to do outside of class — hobbies, interests, secret talents?
Cooking, biking, and working out.
